The weather had been quite unpredictable in the days leading up to the shoot, with frequent bouts of rain. But we were lucky enough to catch a break between the rain on the day of the shoot. The soft, diffused light and Kodak Portra 400 film added to the dreamy atmosphere. And the results speak for themselves.
What makes this shoot even more special is that I had previously photographed a maternity and newborn session for this family. Seeing how much Iyla had grown and developed since our last shoot was heartwarming. And capturing her happy, playful moments was a joy.
