There’s something incredibly special about witnessing a family grow—especially when you’ve had the honor of photographing each chapter along the way. This recent Bay Area spring maternity photography session was one of those moments that felt like a full-circle celebration. A sunny, early spring afternoon greeted us with gardens bursting in color—daffodils and tulips set the perfect scene for this sweet family of four as they await their third baby boy.
Mom absolutely glowed in a blue floral dress that harmonized beautifully with the blooms around her. Her two little boys, full of energy and excitement, were dressed in charming matching outfits and brought endless joy (and lots of giggles!) to the session. With family maternity sessions, there’s always a balance of play and pause. While the boys ran through flower-lined paths, we carved out peaceful moments to capture mom and dad together, and of course, celebrated mama in her own frame—serene, radiant, and full of anticipation.
One of the most meaningful touches was the inclusion of a beloved family heirloom: a vintage pram delivered all the way from Europe. It’s been lovingly featured in all three maternity sessions, a beautiful symbol of tradition and love.
