Dianna and Nick found me through their dear friends, who I had the privilege to photograph a couple of years back. They reached out to document the precious season of expecting their baby girl.
When Dianna shared that she and Nick loved Filoli gardens, I knew it was a perfect location for their winter maternity photoshoot. The olive orchard, blooming magnolia trees, formal garden. Every day of the year, something special awaits you at Filoli! The day of the photoshoot turned out to be the most beautiful and calm. Warm winter sun filled every little nook of the gardens.
It was an absolute joy walking through the intricate pathways of the gardens and getting to know Dianna and Nick. How natural they both are in that season of waiting, how much tenderness, love, and care is between them! The future parents were glowing with joy and anticipation for the newest family member!
The most beautiful message I got from Dianna after they showed the gallery to their family: “I showed my family the photos you took, and they love it! My dad said that the photos look like paintings – it’s so artistic. We can’t wait for our next photo session with you!”
Me too! I cannot wait to meet their baby girl in a few weeks for our newborn session.
Enjoy some highlights from this beautiful Winter Maternity photoshoot.
