Meet Annie, John, and little Sophie. I had the pleasure of documenting the next milestone for this lovely family. They are expecting a baby boy in a couple of months. Annie booked a Family Maternity photoshoot on film.
It was a warm and calm summer evening. The entire family felt comfortable in an open field of Santa Teresa County Park in South San Jose. The soft light and film provided the true-to-life skin tones that I crave in my work. I enjoyed capturing some gentle moments between Sophie and Annie. And some silly moments between daddy and his girl.
Annie was so easy and natural in front of the camera and exuded that beautiful mother glow and kindness. The two maternity dresses that Annie picked looked beautifully on her and allowed enough variety without moving the entire family to a different location.
I’m so glad they wanted to include their puppy in the pictures. Sophie loves him so much.
