Alex gifted a family session for Jess’s birthday before the pandemic hit. We finally met in 2022 as they expected the newest addition to their family – a baby boy.
As we talked about the location – Jess told me their family loves the beach, so I suggested my family’s favorite – Sunset State Beach.
Jess mentioned that their family relocated from France and the kids spoke French only at home. Despite that, little Matheo and Cloe were exceptionally great listeners and easy to photograph. They beamed with happiness while enjoying the free run at the sandy beach. I adored how their little hands wrapped around each other and their parents, how their love and joy shined through!
During our short afternoon, we talked about moving to the US, raising kids, photography, and travel. I left the session with a whole heart and a feeling that I had just met my old-time friends!
I am so happy we could document that precious season in their lives and can’t wait to see them again as a team of five!
