It was one of these perfect summer afternoons at the small historic ranch here in the Bay Area. Nancy and her cute little boys were ready for an adventure. We packed a blanket and seasonal fruits and found a perfect spot in the tall golden grass. I could tell how much she adored her boys and how strong their connection was from the moment I met them. They enjoyed the ripe fruit, spotted a butterfly, and said hello to local chickens.
I hope one day these portraits remind them of the slow warm summer days spent together!
