Meet Brooke and Brandon.
They are expecting their baby girl in April. I met them a couple of months ago as we did a little pregnancy announcement photoshoot at the rose garden.
Brooke asked for a beach location for her maternity photo session since we live in a beautiful California! We ended up with Wilder Ranch in Santa Cruz. Brook and Brandon were hiking there before, and it was my first time shooting there! I loved the gorgeous views of the cliffs and crashing waves. Despite the fact it was in the middle of winter, the weather that afternoon was sunny and warm. The early signs of spring were all around: fresh green grass fields and fuzzy buds bloomed on the trees. Being thirty weeks pregnant, Brooke was still very energetic and up to our little adventure.
Brooke chose two beautiful outfits for her beach maternity session. A floral maternity dress and a lilac tulle skirt with a white lace top! We saved the last for some epic shots at the cliffs! Brandon did a great job as a skirt tosser.
Brooke is a big fan of shoes! So she was so excited to buy her girl a pair of sparkly pink converses! So cute!
Brooke and Brandon are still busy decorating the baby’s nursery with pale green and pink tones. I can’t wait to meet their baby girl and their dog in a couple of weeks at our newborn session!
