I met Jordan during our Sunset Beach maternity photoshoot. She is expecting her second baby in just a few months, and it’s a girl!
This intimate motherhood session happened by her dear friend Ashley’s recommendation, whose family I’ve had the privilege of photographing for years now. Ashley helped Jordan with her flawless professional makeup and hair; she also tagged along and provided immense help and emotional support during the session.
It turned into an afternoon girls beach getaway with dress-ups, giggles, and mom talk.
This maternity beach portrait session was the first time Jordan did professional photos since her wedding, but she looked so natural, calm, and exuded confidence!
You will never regret taking your maternity portraits; you can only regret not taking them! Such a unique and fleeting season in women’s life.
Sunset state beach was the perfect and timeless backdrop for the session: white dunes, calm ocean, and whispy beach grass. The weather was comfortable and warm (which is always a gamble at the beach), and I even convinced Jordan to dip her toes into the ocean.
