Meet Lena, Andrew and Polina.
Lena is a fine art family and newborn photographer. I’ve been her fan for a long time even before I started photographing myself. Only by looking at her work you would want to have a baby just for the sake of pieces of art Lena creates with newborns!
I was so flattered and excited when she booked a maternity session with me! Lena and her husband Andrew are expecting their second baby girl in March.
As a photographer, Lena knew the earlier you book your maternity session, the better! So we scheduled them for January, and it got rained out, then our backup dates got rained out too! We already were ready to give up cause her due date was so close! We both were so happy to have a tiny break between rainy days and finally capture that season of their family’s life before their new addition arrives!
Lena picked one of my favorite locations – Arizona Cactus Garden in Stanford! It is beautiful all year round and even surprised us with some cacti blooms! I loved the color pallete Lena has chosen for their family outfits – lovely shades of blue and soft earthy colors that looked so great with the backdrop! Little Polina was so joyful, showing off her missing tooth and demonstrating her favorite dance moves – she would be such a fun big sister!
We had such a fun time together, and I can’t wait to see what incredible pictures Lena will create with her newborn girl!!!
